About Interactive Reading Workshop
The project’s Interactive Reading workshop was conducted by Fatih Çetin Çetinkaya, project coordinator from Düzce University, and Kasım Yıldırım, Turkey representative. At the beginning of the workshop, warm-up games and acquaintance activities were held. In the workshop, the children’s picture book “A Box” was read interactively and a sample interactive reading process was shown to the participants. Afterwards, Kasım Yıldırım talked about technical information such as what interactive reading is, how to do it, how to use it in classrooms, and what are its academic contributions. Afterwards, detailed answers were given to the participants’ questions about interactive reading and the workshop was concluded.
